Broadway's Future Songbook Series
The concert will be at 6 p.m., at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center, 111 Amsterdam Avenue at West 65th Street, tel. 212-642-0142. Admission is free.
Produced and hosted by John Znidarsic, the evening will spotlight the songs of the award-winning songwriter Ross Baum.
The concert will also be produced and directed by Ben Holtzman and Sammy Lopez of Holtzman-Lopez Productions, with music direction by Curtis Reynolds, arrangements by Peter Hodgson, and an additional arrangement by Will Van Dyke.
Featured performers will include Hannah Corneau (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Marie Eife (Legally Blonde), Danny Harris Kornfeld (RENT - 20th Anniversary Tour), Eric Meyers (The Lightning Thief), Cassie Levine (Disney On Classic), Sydney Morton (American Psycho, Motown), Erika Peterson (RANGE a cappella), Noah Ricketts (Frozen, Beautiful), John Riddle (Frozen, The Visit), Lee Slobotkin (The Book Of Mormon, Wicked), Emma Stratton (Prince Of Broadway), and Stephanie Umoh (Falsettos, Ragtime).
The Broadway's Future Songbook series offers free concerts of new music by Broadway composers and lyricists sung by Broadway vocalists. In its twenty-seventh season, the Songbook series is presented by The Library For The Performing Arts At Lincoln Center in association with Arts and Artists of Tomorrow.
